Join Our Studio

Kaleidoscope Dance is a top Chicagoland dance studio located at the crossroads of the Skokie and Evanston communities. We offer classes for dancers of all ages and abilities in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical and Modern.

Our professional faculty provides top-notch dance education in a warm, community atmosphere. Most importantly, we limit our class sizes, so each dancer has the opportunity to receive personal attention and therefore, progress at a faster pace.

We believe that dance education is more than just instruction, and promote positive self-esteem while instilling the love and appreciation for dance and movement. Our expectation is for each dancer to reach his/her potential and we provide individual attention, no matter the level.

Our studio’s core values are:

Community: We embrace our role as pillars of our community helping to foster a safe environment for learning and comradery.

Leadership: We serve as leaders, mentors and role models for our students and strive to partner with our families to help their children reach their full potential.

Teamwork: We collaborate, treat each other with respect and set an example for our dance families with the understanding that we only achieve our best when we work together.

Passion: We share our passion for the arts to cultivate a love and appreciation for dance and movement within our students.

Fun: We look for every opportunity to inject fun and create an amazing dance experience at Kaleidoscope – for our students, families and ourselves.

We are a supportive and friendly team and are just as keen on supporting and developing our staff, as we are the students.

What Our Teachers Say

This will be my 8th year teaching at Kaleidoscope and it has been an incredible studio for me to share my love of dance and grow my skills as a teacher. It has been a blessing to work with such a talented staff. I am continually blown away watching my fellow teachers choreography and ingenuity with the kids in teaching them dance technique and artistry. I have learned so much just by working alongside this awesome team of teachers! Having taught for multiple studios over the years, I have to say Kaleidoscope has been the most professional space I have had the pleasure teaching for and that is invaluable to me. I love how organized and efficient the studio runs. Communication from both Heather and Laura is always prompt and clear about job expectations, staff events, performances, and additional rehearsals so I know exactly what to expect and can set my schedule well ahead. The studio has grown a lot since I started in 2012 and I love being a part of this thriving dance community. Seeing our staff continue to evolve as educators and our students advance as artists is so inspiring and one of the many reasons I love my job!

Working at Kaleidoscope is great not just because of the awesome students but because of your fellow co- workers. Everyone communicates so well, and we always work as a team! Best studio I’ve worked at by far.
